What it does
Aembit provides Non-Human Identity and Access Management (Workload IAM) for AI agents. Instead of hardcoding API keys or secrets in agent runtimes, agents authenticate using cryptographically verified workload identity and receive just-in-time credentials valid only for the duration of the request.
The core innovation is the Blended Identity model — Aembit combines the agent’s workload identity with the human user’s identity for proper accountability and policy enforcement. This means every agent action is attributable to both the specific agent instance AND the user on whose behalf it is acting.
